TO DO THIS WEEKEND: BOSTON MAY 12-14th, 2023

For a mother, there is no greater gift than spending quality time with her children. This Mother’s Day, why not take her to Somerville’s PorchFest, a free, all-day music festival featuring over 100 bands playing on porches and front yards all over the city. The festival runs from 12pm to 6pm on Saturday, May 14th, and features a wide variety of musical genres, from rock and pop to folk and jazz. There will be food vendors, art vendors, and activities for kids. PorchFest is a great way to enjoy the community and support local musicians. It’s also a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon in Somerville.

If mom is more interested in culture, there are many great museums and art galleries in Boston that she would love to visit. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, is home to a world-renowned collection of art from around the world. The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is another must-see for art lovers, with its stunning collection of Italian Renaissance art. And the Museum of Science, Boston, is a great place to take mom if she’s interested in science and technology.
