Boston is abuzz with activity this weekend, with a variety of events to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a night out on the town, an outside day of fun, or a chance to learn something new, you’re sure to find something to your liking.
On Friday night, the Town & The City Festival kicks off in Lowell. This two-day festival features a lineup of indie rock bands, as well as food, drinks, and vendors. On Saturday, the 2nd Annual Boston Hot Sauce Festival takes over Charles River Speedway. This event features a variety of hot sauces from around the world, as well as food, drinks, and live music.
For those looking for something a little more low-key, there are plenty of options as well. On Saturday afternoon, N.K. Jemisin, the Hugo Award-winning author of the Broken Earth trilogy, will be in conversation with Jenny Bonnevier and Mark Soderstrom at the Shelter & Solidarity event. And on Sunday, the Plymouth Punk Rock Market will be held at Mayflower Brewing Company. This market features a variety of punk rock-themed vendors, as well as live music.
