New Beer Hall Coming to Medford’s Mystic Ave. Corridor
By Patrick Wilson
Medford, MA – A new beer hall boasting a 17,000 square-foot space, outdoor garden, and diverse food options is set to open later this year in Medford.
The Great American Beer Hall (GABH) will take up residence at 142 Mystic Ave., aiming for a late summer or early fall 2024 opening. The project is a collaboration between brothers Mark and Brian Zarthar, who see the GABH as a catalyst for the ongoing revitalization of the Mystic Ave. corridor.
“Mystic Ave. has long held potential as a thriving hub, and the GABH will serve as a local gathering place, offering New England’s finest craft beers, delicious food, and a vibrant community atmosphere,” said Mark Zarthar.
The beer hall will feature a wide selection of New England craft beers alongside national selections. Patrons can enjoy their drinks in the spacious 4,800 square-foot outdoor beer garden, on mezzanine levels, or within the main hall. In addition to beer, the GABH will offer cocktails, wine, and other beverages.
Food options will include an in-house restaurant with a traditional American menu featuring pizzas, sandwiches, wraps, and salads. The GABH will also host a rotating roster of food trucks, catering to diverse palates. Additionally, the space can be booked for private events.
