James Montgomery Will Be Blazin’ Into The Iron Horse Music Hall T Northampton Mass at 7:00 p.m.

The legendary James Montgomery Blues Band is coming into town tomorrow night at the Iron Horse Music Hall on 20 Center Street with Special guest guitarist Gary “Guitar” Gramolini from John Cafferty’s Beaver Brown Band. James will be doing some of his newest material from his Cleopatra Records release “The James Montgomery Blues Band” and the album is a tribute to the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, which is one of Montgomery’s guitar heroes along with James Cotton and legendary Muddy Waters to name just a few. There will be an supporting act who are called “The Mighty King Snakes” a blues band as well from what this writer has heard.
Montgomery has played along side with many legendary greats like The Allman Brothers, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, and was even at one time part of the legendary Blues Brothers band with Dan Akroyd, This New England native has played with so many legends it would take approximately two pages to list everyone he’s worked with in his close to 50 year career, not to mention that he also hosted his own radio show for some time as well and interviewed many guests and musician friends as well.

James will also be appearing on the radio show Talking Hendrix with host Ed Wrobleski, which airs on www.activatemedia.org on friday nights from 7-8 p.m. along with James Talking Hendrix’s other Special guest is Chris Tapp of the group The Cold Stares who just released their new album “Mountain” on October 31st, their music has appeared on ESPN’s broadcast of the X Games this year and their current single “Sleeping With Lions” was featured in the TNT network’s popular series Animal Kingdom hosted by actress Ellen Barkin.
